QUEERLLAGES is not a book meant to be looked at from a distance. It is a creative object designed to be touched, handled, and transformed.
It presents itself for what it is: an open visual archive, a creative tool, and an invitation to build new images from existing materials.
Nothing here is closed. Nothing is finished.
WHAT IS THIS BOOK?
A book designed to be used
QUEERLLAGES does not function like a traditional book. It is designed for an active relationship with the person who uses it.
The book proposes cutting on one side and composing on the other, working with your hands and thinking through gesture. There is no linear reading and no mandatory path.
Each person decides how and when to intervene.
A system designed for cutting and creating
51 sheets designed to be used
QUEERLLAGES is made up of 51 independent sheets, printed on one side only. The back of each sheet is completely blank, designed to be torn out, cut, and worked with freely.
Each sheet functions as an autonomous unit: it can be used whole, cut into fragments, or combined with others.
The book is not damaged when you use it. It is activated.
From cutting to composition
Once the sheets are separated, the process begins with simple gestures: cutting, moving, testing, discarding, starting again.
There is no correct order and no single method. The process is flexible and personal.
Every collage is different
Collages created with QUEERLLAGES do not follow a predefined model. Each result is unique, shaped by personal decisions and unrepeatable combinations.
The book does not propose final images. It proposes possibilities.

QUEERLLAGES brings together a wide visual archive designed to be combined without hierarchy.
Within its sheets coexist bodies, fragments, symbols, objects, patterns, backgrounds, and surfaces drawn from a universe that is queer, camp, and pop, but also dark, delicate, and contradictory.
References to classical art, fantasy, religion, pop culture, and digital aesthetics intersect with historical patterns, styles from different eras, varied materials, and timeless symbols.
The book does not propose a single style. It offers a visual territory where each person builds their own.

One possible version
A collage can begin with a quick intuition or an unexpected combination. Here, decisions grow out of a direct relationship with the materials.
Crossing images, creating meaning
By combining elements from different visual registers, new narratives emerge. Meaning appears in the intersection of forms, symbols, and personal choices.
